I met Sandy the first day, 9th grade, at Mumford. We were in the same study hall. From then on, the best of friends. We had good times together. Often we even double-dated together. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding. Sandy had a fabulous vinyl record collection and we spent lots of time listening to music. Can't say enough good things about her as a person. The old saying "the good die young" applies to her. She died at a young age, leaving behind a very young daughter. Sandy was so kind and so beautiful. All these years later, I still miss her.
