I knew Judy most of my life, from school, Brownies, Girl Scouts, as well as our families knowing each other in the past. I would run into her whenever I came back to Michigan to visit. She was always a caring person and when she heard I was moving my Mom (in her 90's) in with my son and I, she insisted we meet and talk so she could give me some advice. I have taken some of my friends from Mumford for granted, thinking I may always have a chance to run into them or see them. I was unable to stay in town for her funeral and I miss her. The reunion will not be the same as those in the past for me.
Judy and I were cheerleaders together at Mumford. I always admired her spunk and friendliness but it was her tennis game I envied. We played at The Detroit Tennis And Squash Club for years. My game improved but never matched Judy's. She was always gracious and sporting and fun to be around. I miss her smile.

I loved Judy. I just this moment read her obituary. We were neighbors, friends, classmates in college. I am missing you.
