There are always people who you remember with fondness. Sam was one of those nice people I have kept in my memory although I havent seen him in many many years. It saddens me to hear of his passing.  My condolences to his family and to you, Richard, who have lost a dear friend.

I talked to Sam recently (he lived in Orange County and I live in the LA area).  He always enjoyed reminiscing about the past as well as proud of his acting roles here.  My best recollection comes from grade school (Pasteur) when he performed a muscial presentation on jazz for the class.  He was always on stage for us.  He was a true friend to the world.

I remember Sam as a great guy. I recall going to "Singing Sam's", his dad's restaurant. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts go to his family

Sam was one of my football teammates during the 1956 & 1957 football seasons. He was a guy who always gave a 110% effort in every game. When you played with Sam, you were always a little taller, heavier and a lot better.

And as a cheerleader, I was always rooting for him.

Just learned of Sam's passing. I am so glad we spent some time together at the 55th reunion. I have spoken to him several times since, and he sent me a couple of CDs of his acting jobs. Sam was a delight, and my deepest sympathy to his lovely wife Barbara.
