I met Linda in first grade, knew her all through high school, and then she married my husband's cousin, so we suddenly were related! That made it even more fun. We enjoyed many happy times together over the years. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her.

I knew Linda since elementary school.  Birthday parties at her house were lots of fun.  We were together at Sandstone Camp in Wisconsin.  Our cabin was a small group - only five girls.  Spent a whole summer together at that camp.  It's a great memory.

As adults we went to the same hair salon and I'd see her often.  It was sad to see that terrible disease interrupt her life and for a long time she carried on.  But I could see things getting worse and it made me sad.  Sometimes I'd see Linda's mother at a store and would ask about her and her mother would say "Linda still has a beautiful face but  the rest is not good".  Her last years were in a very fine assisted living place.

Linda was among my first new friends at Mumford. We would listen to the soundtrack of "My Fair Lady" and sing "On the Street Where You Live" until the hifi needle needed replacement. I called her parents Aunt Gerry and Uncle Ralph.  Years later we were legally and briefly related. What wonderful memories.

LINDA WAS ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS AND I STOOD UP FOR HER WEDDING. I STAYED CLOSE TO HER THROUGHOUT HER LIFE. SHE WAS NOT ONLY BRIGHT AND PRETTY BUT A VERY GOOD PERSON AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER WITH WARM THOUGHTS.
