Judy and my sister Charlotte Swartz were long-term classmates and graduated from Mumford together.  You could say we were couples friends in a sense.  We would go to her house and sometimes I would play with her younger brother David while Judy and Charlotte visited.  I remember sitting on the hallway floor and playing board games with David.  They had some type of backyard pool and I recall the four of us taking a dip on a hot summer day.

 

We reconnected with Judy in 1976 when we were living (again) at the time in Oakland County.  She and I and our spouses were dinner guests at my sister and her husband's house.  Judy still looked like the actress Leslie Caron.

 

Judy was warm and relatable and would share her thoughts and feelings.

 

I watched a video on the Mumford58 web site several years ago and Judy was among the happy guests interviewed at the thirty year class reunion.
