So sad.  On behalf of the class of 1958, we send our condolences to Howard’s family and friends.  Thank you, Dennis Frank, for sending me the message about Howard. What a nice guy he was and I hope that happy memories will help soothe your broken hearts.

I can't think about Howard without smiling. We called him "Froggy". I can't remember why, but I never saw him when he wasn't smiling and laughing. He is missed. So sorry for his family.

Sorry to learn of Howard’s passing. Murray’s comment is spot on. Howard was always smiling. May is memory be for a blessing.

I never really knew Howard - he was in the 58 class - I was in the 57 class. But I knew of him, and recognised him from an incident that happened on New Years Eve, I think from 56 going to 57. It was the night of an ice storm (freezing rain). Few people had experienced that in the Detroit area. Cars were sliding everywhere. Mine kept sliding sideways to the curb, as were many others. It was near Howards house. He was out there helping push cars to get them going again. As someone else said, "a real mench". RIP Howard. You will be remembered, even by strangers.
