JoAnn Fried Weissman

1941-2023

For those of you who were not at our recent reunion, there was a tribute to JoAnn Weissman Fried included in the phamphlet handed out to everyone who attended.

This year we recognize a special lady who assumed the role of Reunion Chairperson after the passing of Diane Katkin and Sharon Tyner. JoAnn has been a dedicated and tireless leader. She has worked closely with all of the committee members. She has communicated on a regular basis with all of them. She has been focused and firm but was always willing to explore new ideas when they were presented. Her dedication has been flawless which has insured the "things" got done in an efficient and professional manner.

In Tribute:

As we gathered for our 60th reunion it was only fitting to recognize two special women whose pride in the class of 1958 inspired them to work tirelessly to insure that each of our preceding reunions was an outstanding success. Both Sharon and Diane united teams of fellow classmates and under their leadership the job got done. Therefore, we dedicated the 60th reunion to them as a tribute for all of the work they did for the Mumford class of 1958.
