I had not realized that Linda was in the Mumford class of 1958. My husband and I lived in the Detroit area for twenty-two months in the mid-nineteen-seventies and Linda was my neighbor in Southfield with whom I was most engaged. We visited often. Her youngest child was a pre-schooler who played with all three of my children. I remember him emoting back then about how much he loved his mom and dad. (I recall going to one of his birthday parties and staying the whole time. It was a good, old-fashioned party like the ones I remember as a child.) I was glad to learn recently that Linda and Allan's years post-retirement were in Arizona, where their three children and their families live also and where Linda and Allan were able to be a big part of the lives of all twelve grandchildren.
