If I remember correctly (which is not to be taken for granted), Elliot had polio as a child and, I think, was nearly crippled. In response, he made a glorious comeback by disciplined body building. When I met up with him again we were fifteen, and he had an Arnold Schwartzennager build. I suspect that many 15 year old boys (such as me) wanted to look like that, but I don't know of anyone (such as me) who had the discipline for it.
I recall Elliot too. He was a reazl nice guy and, as I recall, he was doing some work as a magician for a while. That was back when he was in the eigth or ninth grade.
