Dr. Michael Bloom was a gentle, intelligent, loving adoring husband of Carol Stein Bloom, beloved brother of Linda Bloom Weissman, devoted father, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend. I've known Mike since we were 14 years old. I was a matron of honor at his and Carol's wedding and she was the maid of honor at my wedding, both of which were in 1963. NO one could ever say a mean word about Mike and he was loved by everyone . There is a hole in all of our hearts since the loss of Mike by pancreatic cancer. He waged an heroic 8 year battle. He will be sorely missed but hopefully our wonderful memories of him will help to soothe our broken hearts.
Michael Bloom and I were friends throughout school and for many years afterwards. He was a wonderful, kind and gently soul. Even though we have not seen each other in quite a few years, I and Bill have always considered Mike a good friend. Our sincere condolences to Carol and his two boys and their families.
